Ms. Graciela M. Estrada passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022. She was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua on October 12, 1932. Graciela graduated from Redemptorist High School and started working for United Fruit Company which she retired from after a lifetime career there. Gracie was an active member for many years in the Rhea Carnival Club.
She is preceded in death by her father Ireneo A. Estrada, mother Mercedes M. Estrada, brother Jose Delores, and sisters Salvadora E. Cazalot, Rosanellie E. Taquino and niece Brenda R. Taquino.
She is survived by her nephew Peter G. Cazalot III, and nieces Ivette Taquino Ramsey, Yvonne M. Cazalot, Laurie Cazalot Bergeron, Vanessa Taquino Sthall, Michele Cazalot Weathington as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and a nephew.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service to be held at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
