

We mournfully announce the passing of Gregory Charles Alexander, 68, in Bridge City, LA. He was born on February 9, 1957, and passed away on June 2, 2025. He was a long-term resident of River Ridge, LA.
Greg is preceded in death by his father, Wallace Jack Alexander, and his mother, Elaine E. Alexander. He is survived by his aunt, Marilyn Foley, his cousins Kathleen F. Couvillon and Patricia F. Magee, his sister, Alexis A. Griener and many lifelong friends.
He graduated from Rummel High School in Metairie, LA. He earned degrees in Psychology and English from the University of New Orleans. Greg taught English to high school students in New Orleans for twelve years. He retired as a Training Specialist with the Jefferson Parish Department of Human Resource Management.
Greg was an author of numerous, published short stories and self-published the novel, The Holy Mark, in 2014. He loved animals, sports cars, bowling, tennis, playing pool, playing 45s, and cooking for family and friends.
Please consider donating to the ASPCA in Greg’s honor. A private inurnment will be held at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Relatives and friends will be invited to attend a Memorial on a future date.
