Gregory Paul Wax

Gregory Paul Wax passed away peacefully February 10, 2022, at age 59. Greg was a native of New Orleans, proud graduate of Holy Cross School and dedicated law enforcement officer for over 20 years. Greg was a loving father, devoted son, loyal brother and proud grandfather. He was very passionate about family and enjoyed fishing. He loved flying and anything aviation related, earning his pilot license over 25 years ago. He was preceded in death by his fiancé, Lazara “Liz” Barker and his mother, Emily Borne Wax. He is survived by his father, Herbert Frank Wax Jr and step-mother, Shirley Seghers Wax; his children, Amelie Wax Reeves (Brian) and Garrett Paul Wax (Shelby); their mother, Alycia Adams; his grandchildren, Cohen Wax and Callen Warren. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen Wax Falcon (James) and Bradley Wax (Cheri); and his step-siblings, Diane Griffin and David Griffin Jr. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and funeral service at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by mass at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Cross School or the American Diabetes Association.
