I am so sorry to have learned of Guy's death. I have spoken with him several times at his house in Venetian Isle, that he rented out. I have the house next door. May God bless his family that he was so proud of and spoke so loving about.

I met Guy at the Neutral Ground years ago and we became friends, we talked every Sunday while listening to the music.  I will miss these  conversations. My condolences to his wife and daughter.  Rest in Peace my friend. Ralph Labat

I still can't believe that you are this suddenly gone from our lives -- the lives of your friends & family, including your Neutral Ground family. I went to the Neutral Ground's open mic night on Sunday expecting you to be there, as you always are, and I got the news. Thank you Guy for all of your support when I was in college. Practically every other day for several years I was either working at the Neutral Ground or doing homework there, and you always smiled and made sure I was doing okay. You always displayed joy and conviction, every single day.
Just this past weekend I was thinking about something you said when I was working as a barista. You told me one day about how you drank your coffee black and how anyone who uses sugar and cream is just pretending... not a true coffee connoisseur. It made me laugh thinking about it. I'm praying for you, for your daughter (an Ursuline alum) and the rest of your family and friends.

Wow, can't believe this happened.  Our thoughts go out to the entire Seghers clan, especially mom and daughter!  You will all remain in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Guy's family and loved ones. I met Guy when Mark Carmouche and I drove to New Orleans to deliver an airplane to Guy years ago. Mark, who passed away in 2012 was a flying buddy of Guy's. I will miss Guy's posts on Facebook. I especially enjoyed the pictures he shared which he had taken while flying. My beautiful brother and best friend. We were 15 months apart and I have fond memories growing up. We had each others back and we both felt that we would do anything for each other. I will miss him dearly in the physical world but there will be a grand reunion one day. Rest in peace and I am and will do everything I can for Mayumi and my sweet beautiful niece Josephine. Guy's brother and I were best friends growing up.  Guy was like a older brother to me (he scared me and he chased me and David around all the time).  These are fond memories I will never lose and will think of Guy the rest of my days as that older protective brother.  Rest in Piece my friend.  God gets one of his best home.
