Harry “Paul” May, Jr. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Age 87 years. Husband of Carolyn C. May and by 1st marriage of the late Elaine Williams May. Father of Susan May Brown (Gordon “Mike”, Jr.), Harry Paul May III (Stephanie), Maureen May Williams (Alan) and Traci May Moore (Dennis). Step father of Brian Johnson (Kathleen), Mimi Johnson (friend Sally Evans), Richard Johnson (friend Diane Jeffery) and the late Cheryl Barkemeyer. Brother of the late Gloria Wheeler. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Paul was a graduate of Warren Easton High School and retired from AT&T as a Manager. He served in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the American Legion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
