Harvey Ellis Harris

Harvey Harris passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2024. Harvey was born and resided in New Orleans. He is preceded in death by his parents MaryAnn Blanchard Harris and Martin Welsh Harris. Harvey was an avid athlete and played on many local and college sports team. He maintained lifelong friendships with other players from as early as Little League days. He worked in computer communications for National American Bank, Jay Ray McDermott, and the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Department. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Devvie Harris. During their marriage they lived in the French Quarter and enjoyed a colorful life there. They also spent many happy weekends in their Waveland retreat enjoying living on the Gulf Coast.
