Haydée Druilhet Manuel passed away on February 12, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born on September 26, 1935 to Edwin and Amelie Druilhet, and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Manuel. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Clark (Lance) of Alexandria, Virginia and Holly Lapeyre (Tré) of New Orleans. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Sarah Douglas (Andrew), Miles Clark, Parker Lapeyre, Taylor Lapeyre and Aimée Lapeyre and her most favorite great-grandchildren, James and Mackenzie Douglas. Haydée attended Dominican High School, Charity School of Radiology and Loyola University. While working at Shell Oil Company she married the love of her life, Ken. She was an avid reader, enjoyed art, traveling, and most importantly shopping. Later in life she moved into the Lambeth House where she had fun going to happy hour and singing with great enthusiasm in the choir. Most of all, she cherished her family, and never went a day without telling and showing them how much she loved them all. She was always excited to share in the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was upbeat, never complained and was always bright, bubbly and kind. Services will be private and held at a later date in Virginia. The family invites you to share fond memories and condolences online at www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
