Hubert Louis LaBorde

Hubert Louis LaBorde, age 87 on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Beloved husband of 66 years of Lela Mae Juneau LaBorde. Loving father of Carolyn and Gail LaBorde. Also survived by a sister Gloria Theriot and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Belle and Dennis LaBorde, Sr., and a brother Dennis LaBorde, Jr. A native of Mansura, LA and a past resident of New Orleans for 31 years and currently of Metairie, LA for 39 years. Mr. LaBorde was a retiree of New Orleans Public Service /LP&L/Entergy and a parishioner of St. Benilde Catholic Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday morning at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, LA from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of East Jefferson Hospital, St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Center and Canon Hospice for their care.
