Ian Douglas Albert Wilson passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 94. He was a Seaman, Accountant, Mechanic, Carpenter, and Alarm specialist. He was a member of Deutsch Haus, the Seaman’s union, and attended Baptist church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Elizabeth Crawford Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Edward Wilson (Norma White Wilson) and Michael Stanley Wilson; his grandchildren, Michael Stanley Wilson, Jr., Dana Joseph Wilson, Emily Jean Wilson Stricker (Jeff Stricker) and Shawn Anthony Wilson (Dena Krishnan); great grandchildren, Elise Stricker, Lily Stricker, Christopher Stricker, Ajay Wilson and Jolie Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70121 at 11am, followed by a funeral service at 1pm.
