Jackie Moore Barre passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 79. She was born on May 15, 1944 in Weston, West Virginia. She had a career as a produce broker and worked for Fred C. Ebel Co. for 35 years and considered the people she worked with as her work family. She enjoyed playing with her cats, gardening, having coffee under her Cypress tree with Kathy, eating crawfish, and watching movies with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Knight Puffenbarger and David Hugh Moore; stepfather, Everett Puffenbarger; and her brother, Dave Moore (Sue).
Jackie is survived by her son, Thomas J. Barre (Kathy); brothers, Denny Moore (Becky), Jerry Moore (Judy), and Billy Moore (Virginia); grandchildren, Taylor J. Barre and Zachary I. Barre; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10 AM.
