

Jacquelyn (Jackie) Hahn Hosch, age 86, on November 10, 2016, at 11:03p.m., entered into eternal life. Jackie was very well loved by everyone, including her nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was like a mother to her niece Dana Jones Miller and her nephew Kevin J. Hosch. Jackie is survived by her husband, Louis A. Hosch, Jr. of 65 years, her brother, Harold Hahn, Jr. (Louise), her sisters, Hattie Mae Hahn, Patsy Hahn Rodriguez, JoAnn Hahn Eiserloh, and Danya Hahn Wilke. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Beulah Hahn; her sister Donnell Hahn Jones; brother-in-laws Edward (Boo) Rodriguez and Warren (Bobby) Eiserloh; nephews Al Rodrigue, and Harold Hosch, Jr. Jackie was born on January 2, 1930 in New Orleans, LA. She married and devoted her life to her loving husband Lou. Jackie was a wonderful woman who loved her family and family history. She had a love for writing poems, telling stories about her family life and her relatives. She enjoyed playing games as well as helping her great nieces and nephews with homework. Jackie was very involved in the Krewe of Atlas Carnival Club, where her husband was President for many years. She also enjoyed her ladies clubs, Delta Golden Ages, Red Hat Club and especially playing bingo with Atlas Bingo. Her family and friends will always remember her as loving, caring and willing to help others. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
