Jacquelin (known to all as Melissa) was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on July 17, 1982. She attended Holy Name of Jesus School and Cabrini High School in New Orleans. She received her AAS in Accounting at Delgado Community College, where she was selected to The National Society of Leadership and Success and earned a place on The Dean’s List.
Melissa managed her parents’ mattress stores, and it was under her management when all locations were most successful. She loved to surround herself with any and all people, so she moved onto bartending where she enjoyed many new friendships.
First and foremost, Melissa cherished her faith and trust in God. Animal Rescue was so dear to her as well as spending time with her family and friends. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed feeding many lucky people. She was a caregiver at heart and was always the first to offer her help, love and compassion to others. She appreciated everything nature had to offer and we cannot forget the color purple. She loved anything purple!
Melissa is survived by her parents, Anne Moulton Giovingo, Michael S. Giovingo, Sr. and Thomas Fenton Argue, Pandora Argue; her two sisters, Amanda Placer (Patrick) and Gabriella Argue; her brother, Michael Giovingo, Jr.; her two grandmothers, Adrianne Giovingo and Patricia Moulton; her four aunts, Virginia Moulton, Pam Argue, Dionne Slaughter, and Evelyn Moulton; her three uncles, Claiborne Moulton, Douglas Devitt, and Gary Giovingo; her two nephews, Lance Giovingo and Peyton Placer; her two nieces, Riley Giovingo and Abigail Placer; and her cousins, Nicole Argue – Nial, Lexi Argue, Hayden Zoller, Nicholas Moulton, Christopher Moulton, Trey Moulton, and Dylan Harris.
Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claiborne “Tutti” Moulton, Lewis C. Moulton, Jacquelin Argue – Devitt, Ross Devitt, and Pascal Giovingo.
