Jacqueline (Jackie) Yager Piglia, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Texas on June 25, 2023. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry Piglia, her father Emile Yager and her mother Dorothy Miller. She is the loving mother of Jeanette Chacon (Lenny) and Renee Adams; grandmother to Emili Anderton (Ryan), Morgan Franz (Jon), Emma Dematteo, Francis Pedraza (Jose) and Kelsey Lewis (Nick); great grandmother to Scarlet and Juliet Anderton, Dean and Theo Pedraza and Palmer Lewis. She is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Jackie was born on July 2, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She resided there for 81 years before moving to Texas to be with family.
Jackie was the kindest soul, never knowing a stranger. She loved her family more than anything and always put them first. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was so loved and will be greatly missed.
Friends and Family are invited to attend funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans at 12:00pm on Friday July 7th, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:30am.
