Jake Andrew Palumbo

Jake Andrew Palumbo, age 39, a native of New Orleans and resident of St. Louis, Mo. passed on Thursday, Nov. 6th. along with his faithful dog Song. Loving son of August "Gus" Palumbo (Carol) and Darlene Frederic (Ty Quigley). Brother of Matthew (Emily), Nicholas, and Angela Palumbo, and Tina Quigley (Matt Sieling),uncle of Dante Palumbo. Dear friend of Diane Armstrong. Jake was a graduate of Jesuit High, the University of New Orleans, and Harvard Law School where he was editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. He was an attorney in St. Louis and Counsel for the National Association of Federal Agents. Jake was a NRA certified firearms instructor, and rode with the Patriot Guard. He was fiercely proud of his country, his Italian heritage, his church St. Ambrose, and his membership in The Hill 2000 Association and the Cefalutana Society of New Orleans. Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie on Monday, Nov. 17th at 9 am, followed by a requiem mass at 11am, Rev. Anhony McGinn, S.J. officiating. Interment in Lake Lawn Mausoleum immediately following.
