Jane Giovenco Thomassie born February 18, 1934 passed on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the age of 88. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jerry F. Thomassie; sister, Jenny Giovenco; brother, James Giovenco. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Thomassie Gaule; son-in-law, Thomas Gaule; Godchild, Jamie Giovenco; great niece, Shea Brumfield; cousin, Rick Perez; sister-in-law, Mary S. Giovenco. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM followed by a Mass at 11:00AM. Burial will be at All Saints Mausoleum.
