Jane Freret Wynne

Jane Freret Wynne passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Dayries Wynne, Sr. Daughter of Vincent R. Freret and Emma Keefer Freret. Loving mother of Jane Beardsley (Fred), Suzy Stitch (George), Arthur Wynne, (MaryEllen), Vincent Wynne (Janie), Ginny Westphal (Dean), Douglass Wynne (Teri), Juby Taylor and Christopher Wynne (Carolyn). Adoring grandmother of 24. She was also the great grandmother of 26 and great great grandmother of 2. She was sister to Elizabeth Freret Hartson, Douglass V. Freret and Thomas R. Freret. She is survived by nieces, cousins and friends. She touched the lives of so many, and we hope that you will take a moment to honor her in your own way. She will be missed each and everyday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM.
