Janet E. Arseneaux Creighton passed away peacefully at her home in Arabi, Louisiana on December 17, 2020 at the age of 72. A native of New Orleans, Janet was born on January 25, 1948 to the late Leo B. Arseneaux and Jannette Levine Arseneaux.
Janet is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Donald A. Creighton Sr.; her daughter, Nicole Creighton; son, Donald A. Creighton Jr.; her grandchildren, Alyce Plunkett and Layla Creighton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Elsie Binder and brother, Leo Arseneaux.
Janet was truly dedicated to her family; she was a devoted wife and a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. A woman of strong faith, she was a devout Christian who loved the Lord.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service to be held in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 at 12:00 NOON with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
