Janet Krause Hawkins passed away at the age of 72 on September 27, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Anita Valon Krause; her brother, Scooter Krause, and her husband, Charles Hawkins, III. Janet is survived by her brother, Wayne Krause of New Orleans; son, David Hawkins; and grandchildren, Brady and Mikenna Hawkins. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
