Janet C. Schaub, age 68, of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born on June 11, 1955. Janet graduated class of 1973, from Riverdale High School, in Jefferson, Louisiana. She was retired from Crescent Construction, where she was employed for over 10+ years. Janet loved watercolor painting, singing and spending time with family and friends.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Joseph Schaub Jr and her mother, Gloria P. Chatelain.
Janet is survived by her father, Clifton J. Chatelain; her daughter, Jamie A. Schaub (Corey A. Salmon); her sister, Jill A. Chatelain; her brother, Mark D. Chatelain; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11am, with Funeral Services to follow at 1PM. The interment will take place immediately following, at All Saints Mausoleum inside of Metairie Cemetery.
