Jason Edward Bergez passed away suddenly on April 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by hard work, devotion to family, and loyalty to friends. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 6, 1973, to the late Donald Edward Bergez and Debra Detillier Bergez. Jason is survived by his mother, Debbie Detillier Bergez; sisters, Celeste Bergez Turner (Billy) and Cherie Bergez Legendre (Robby); and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a son, brother, and friend. He had a unique and generous soul and is now at peace in his Maker’s loving arms. Jason’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all those who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd in Slidell, Louisiana, on Friday, May 1, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:30am with a Memorial Mass following at 11:00am. Jason will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
