Jeanette Frances Morrill

Our family lost its matriarch on Saturday, July 22, 2023 when Jeanette Frances Morrill went home to be with Jesus at the age of 89. Her legacy and contributions to our family will carry on for generations to come.

Jeanette was born on June 9, 1934 in Berwick, Louisiana to Cornelis Auenson and Flavia O. Borel. She is survived by her children, Bentz C. Braud III (Jannie), George Pearson Braud (Tommy), Melinda Greenroad (Randy) and Lloyd Braud Sr. (Gail); grandchildren Chuck, Crystal (Johnny), Brian (Jennifer), Jennifer (David), Randy (Fallon), Jessica (Daniel), Lloyd Jr. (Megan), Brent (Jason), Robert, Mark and Michael; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other family members and friends who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her late husband and the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Morrill and her late son Mark Braud.

Jeanette was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. She was passionate about spending time with her loved ones. Her canine companions were always dear to her and she loved to travel. Her kindness, loyalty and compassion were unmatched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Private services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Metairie Cemetery.
