Jeanne Carol Allen Palone

Jeanne Carol Allen Palone born in Altoona, PA on January 18, 1942 and passed away on June 17, 2024 in Merritt Island, Florida. Daughter of the late Walter F. and Jeanne Calvin Allen of Altoona, PA respectfully.

A graduate of New York State College, Fredonia, New York, Carol held degrees in English, Speech, and Dramatic Arts. Her career as an educator began at East Bloomfield High School, Bloomfield, New York and spanned decades at Hollidaysburg High School, Hollidaysburg, PA, Chalmette High School, and Bonnabel High School teaching English as a second language.

Carol loved art, music, literature, and especially cats. Beloved wife of the late Julius P. Palone. Carol is survived by her brother Mark C. Allen of Merritt Island, Florida and nephews, Walter C. Allen and Samuel K. Allen of Ipswich, MA.

A Visitation will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, June 28, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m. at Metairie Cemetery in All Saints Mausoleum.
