Jessica Lynn MacPherran

Jessica Lynn MacPherran went to her Heavenly home on June 6, 2014, to join loved ones there. Jessica was born on January 4, 1980 in Metairie. She was a lifelong residen of Louisiana. Jessica graduated with a degree in Political Science and Communication from Louisiana State University in 2002. She attended Tulane Law School on scholarship. She was a proud member of the Louisiana Ambassador Program, President of the Pre-Law Society, and a sister to many of the Phi Mu Sorority. Jessica is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jane and Thomas Matthews, her Uncle John Randy Matthews and Ruth and Robert MacPherran. She will be missed, but not forgotten, by her parents, Linda Jane and Scott Roy MacPherran, her uncles, Patrick, Andy and Michael Matthews, and Uncles Roy Hagar and Steve Pollack ; her aunts Cindy MacPherran, Joyce Hagar and Mary Sue Pollack and Maggie Brown. Her 1st cousins Stephanie, Steven, Amy, Eddie, Debbie, Ryan, Samantha, Bridgette, and Ashley, all of her other cousins, her friends and beloved cats Cole and Marigny. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, La. 70124 on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
