Jim Roberts passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2014 in Metairie, LA. He was a beloved husband and Daddo, and friend to all. Jim was an active member of Perfect Union Lodge #1 F&AM and The Valley of New Orleans A.A.S.R. He was preceded in death by one daughter Whitney Jaymes Roberts and his father Richard Roberts. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Dianne T. Roberts; daughter Brittany Dianne Roberts and fiance Benjamin Bourg; mother Patricia Roberts; siblings Jacquie Bordenave, John Roberts, Janice Ragusa, Jeanette Matto and their families.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral service on Friday, August 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, at 1:00pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 until service time. Interment will take place following the service at Lake Lawn Park.
