Joan Marie Oulliber Guepet entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2018 at the age of 76. Loving wife of Jacob S. Guepet, Jr. for 54 years; loving and proud mother of Michele G. Quick (Jason), Angelle G. Winningkoff (Stephen) and Stephen M. Guepet. Grandmother of Chad and Rachael Schomaker, Morgan Guepet and Ian Winningkoff, Great grandmother of Jordan Legrande, Rhylee Schomaker, and Jackson Quick. Sister of Mary Ann Cole (Des). She is preceded in death by both parents, Mabel S. Oulliber and Edward F. Oulliber.
The family would like to thank the people of Hearts of Hospice, especially Avery McKee and Patti Ponce. The family also wishes to express appreciation for Joan’s personal caregivers, Lourdes Diaz and Blanca Sarreo, for their dedicated service and care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:30 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, masses offered for Joan are preferred.
