John Leon Connolly, Jr., 85, passed away in Slidell, Louisiana on October 2, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Leon Connolly and Helen Stassi Connolly; wife, Lois Ferrand Connolly.

He is survived by his sons, John Leon Connolly III (Erika) and Patrick Timothy Connolly; grandchildren, Timothy Connolly (Jennifer), Jennifer Bravata (Dominick), and Thomas Connolly (Alyssa); great-grandchildren, Colin Connolly, Anna Bravata, Lois Connolly, Emma Bravata, Adelena Bravata, and Daniel Connolly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and a graveside service will follow the Mass at Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd.

This is to John 111. John I hope you remember but I attended Jesuit 75’ and was in Troop 23 when we were kids. Hope you are well and sorry for your loss!!! I always remembered how you live to work on cars as a kid. Best wishes to you and your family! Take care Owen

Hulk, Ericka, and Patrick, so sorry to read about the loss of your dad. I am only now reading of his passing. I regret that I missed the services, but found out only after. 'Mr. Hulk' was always a really nice guy. It is nice to see from these photos that he lived a long and happy life, with lots of family around.
