John W. Howard III, a tragic victim of a 4 wheeler accident, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the age of 27. He is survived by his fiancée Kasey Stein, his children Mallory and John “Jake” Howard IV, father John W. Howard, Jr., step-mother My Hua Howard, brother Lance Howard, grandmother Rose Johnson, aunts Sheryl Harvin and Debra Dunn, uncles Robert, Keith, and Steven Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Pamela Johnson Howard, paternal grandparents Jane and John “Jake” Howard, Sr., and maternal grandfather Robert Johnson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, September 26, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
