John Ridgely Hudson

John R. Hudson passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 79. He was a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Metairie. He was the President and Owner of Hudson Mechanical, Inc. and also a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union #60. He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgina Jacquillon Hudson and William Hudson; his sister, Dolores Hudson; and brother, William Hudson, Jr. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann Cotter Hudson; daughters, Susan Hudson and Michelle Hudson Brinz (Joe); son, Brian Hudson; grandchild, Corky Dennis (Emily); and great-grandchild, CJ Dennis. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home and Cemeteries. Per John’s request, there will be no services.
