John Martin

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jean A. Martin. He is further survived by daughters, Wendy (Charles “Tony”) DiFulco Bonny (Charles) Walton and Laurie Martin. He is further survived by sons, Harry J. (Sharon) Thompson and David Martin; his grandchildren, Devon (Amy) Thompson, Dillon Thompson, James Walton, Melanie Walton and Bobbi Martin; his twin brother, James Martin, III and five other siblings.

John was an Air Force and Army veteran. He was a loving father and husband and will be deeply missed by all of his friends and loved ones. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for all the love and care the staff at Canon and Harmony Hospices extended to John during his last years.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Saturday December 20, 2014 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, La. with Funeral at Noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
