John Joseph Ordoyne

John was born on January 26, 1948 in Buras, Louisiana to Helen and Nelson Ordoyne. In his youth he served with the Navy and was a proud veteran. John loved gardening and he is responsible for many of the gorgeous balconies in the French Quarter. He also enjoyed reading and creating beautiful paintings.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Nelson Ordoyne, and his siblings, Rosemary Naquin, Richard Ordoyne, Nelson Ordoyne, and Billye Ordoyne.

John is survived by his dedicated companion of the last 32 years, Stanley Garofalo. He is also survived by his brothers, Wallace and Michael Ordoyne, and sister, JoAnn Ullo.

The family would also like to give special thanks to Lauren, their funeral director at Lake Lawn Metairie.

Services for Mr. John will be held privately.
