For 34 years, Jorge worked as a supervisor for Avondale Shipbuilding, a role that reflected his steady dedication and the quiet strength with which he approached life. He also valued community and service, holding membership in the Palm-Air Civic Association, the Club de Guatemala, and the Lions Club—connections that spoke to his commitment to others and to the ties that mattered most.
Jorge’s life was enriched by simple, lasting joys: time spent gardening, camping, and traveling. Whether at home tending what he had planted or away exploring new places, he carried an enduring appreciation for the world around him and the moments shared along the way.
Jorge was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Dominga Bran; his sister, Josefa Bran; and his brothers, Adrian, Miguel, Juan, and Luis Bran. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Bran.
