Joseph Stanley Middleton, Jr.

Born in New Orleans at Hotel Dieu and lived in New Orleans and the surrounding areas all of his life.

Predeceased by his parents, sister, and his beloved wife of over 60 years, Genevieve, and his first son David.

He will always be remembered by his children; Odele Marie, Gregory, and Kirk, Grandson; Ryan, Grand-daughter; Danielle, her husband; Shawn, their children, his great grandchildren Trent, Kate, and Grant and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He attended LSU on a football scholarship and served in the U. S. Navy Reserves for over 8 years.

He was a hardworking man all of his life in the construction industry, where he was a innovator in the pool business receiving many awards.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. Visitation will be held prior to the service and will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
