Josephine Grieshaber Wagner

Josephine Grieshaber Wagner passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at age 87. Beloved wife of the late Charles C. Wagner, M.D. Daughter of the late George Grieshaber and Jennie Carra Grieshaber. Loving mother of Charles Jr., George Wagner M.D. (Elena) Jennie St. Pierre (L.J.), JoAnne Castillo DVM (Nestor), Louise Levin and the late Raymond Wagner. Sister of Agatha G. Schoen and the late Honorable Dominic Grieshaber. Adoring grandmother of Amy Karim, Andrew Levin, Melissa Wagner, Kimberly Wagner, Jenna Wagner and Allison Johnson. Great grandmother of Joseph Campos and Nur Karim. Dear friend of the late Estelle Egan. Mrs. Wagner was a long time resident of Lakeview and then relocated to Metairie after Katrina. She was an honor graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Ursuline College where she was the editor of the yearbook, “The Gironde”. She was devoted to her church, family, pets and many close friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
