Joyce Lapouble Lee

Joyce was born December 10, 1937 to Albert C. Lapouble and Hilda Boya Lapouble. She was a graduate of Fortier High School in 1955. She went on to work as a legal secretary and ended her career in the code enforcement office for Jefferson Parish. Joyce loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling.

Joyce was the beloved mother of Deborah Lee Fox (Patrick), Teri Lee Haas (Barry), and Gerald W. Lee Jr. (Darla); beloved grandmother of Rebecca Fox, Barry Haas Jr. (Melanie), Keith Haas (Kellie), Dustin Lee, and Chandler Lee Dauterive (Daniel); and beloved great-grandmother of Katie Russo, Colton Haas, Sydney Haas, Hunter Haas, Hannah Haas, Leighton Dauterive, Hudson Dauterive, and Elsie Dauterive.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Jerry W. Lee; her parents, Albert C. and Hilda B. Lapouble; sisters, Mary Rita Ingrassia and Hilda L. Goings; and brother, John Lapouble.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joyce’s services on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation is at 10:00 AM until the Catholic service in the chapel at 12:00 o’clock noon.
