Joyce Mary Morgani

Joyce Pedelahore Morgani, age 93, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Slidell, LA. She was the cherished wife of the late Jack J. Morgani. She was born on February 2, 1931 to the late Norman Pedelahore and Mildred Bourdier Pedelahore and was the adopted daughter of the late William Lang and Josephine Pedelahore Lang. Joyce was the devoted mother of Judy Voorhies, former son-in-law, Regan Voorhies, Sr., Michael Morgani (Lisa), and Kim Morgani, former son-in-law, William Chavanell, III, and the late Kenneth P. Morgani and Dennis P. Morgani; loving and devoted grandmother of Ronnie, Regan, Remy, Dana, Gina, Michal Jay, Cara, Mia, and Bryce. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren.

Joyce was a native of New Orleans and resided in Slidell for the past 30 years. Joyce was a stay at home mother who had the cleanest house in town. She was always lovingly involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s active lives. She enjoyed those times she spent with them. She and Jack were totally devoted to each other and he will be welcoming her with open arms in her new eternal life with him.

Joyce devoutly prayed to St. Anthony for his intercession on many occasions, so please say a prayer in remembrance of her to him.

At Joyce’s request there will be no funeral service.
