Joycelyn “Joyce” McGee White entered her eternal rest on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife for 61 years of the late Harold "Scooter" James White, Sr.; loving mother of Harold James White, Jr. and Vickie White Hingle (Tony), and the late Carol Ann White; grandmother of Harold James White III, Nicholas Anthony Hingle, and Alexis Marie Hingle; and daughter of the late John and Alice McGee.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and funeral mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124, on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the mass at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum, which is on the same property as the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
