Judith L. Burkey passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. She is survived by her children; John Burkey (wife Rachel) and Nina Burkey. Judith is also survived by her siblings; Catherine, Polly, Patricia, Harriett and Thomas and a dear cousin Nancy Brandon. She was an avid reader, enjoyed antiques and spending time with friends and family. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Homelike in the Garden and Hospice Compassus for all of their compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Prayer Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 11AM.
