Judy Broussard

Judy L. Broussard passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the age of 77. She was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans. Judy graduated Sacred Heart High School and was a secretary in the seafood business. She was a member of East Jefferson New Comers and enjoyed cooking, gardening and mostly spending time with her family.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl J. LaDouceur and Marion F. LaDouceur.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Erroll “Buddy” F. Broussard Jr; her children, Rebecca Whittington (Cyril) and Brett Ducote (Rhonda); her step-children, Kelly Fulham (Pat), Darlene Witcher (Darrell), Tommy Broussard (Jane) and Terry Broussard (Darlene); her grandchildren, Denton, Ardin and Shaye; and her step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, William and Mason.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 2:00PM. A visitation will begin at 12:00PM until Mass. Judy will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park following services.
