Karen Ann Sanders departed this life for eternal rest on June 14, 2025, at the age of 55. She was born in New Orleans, LA and moved with family to Jefferson, LA at an early age. She attended Riverdale High School. Karen is preceded in death by her father Tommy Sanders and her stepfather Shelton Pierce. Karen leaves to cherish her memory her mother Geraldine Pierce, sons Alex Montejo of Denver, Colorado and Chase LaCoste of Metairie, LA as well as daughter Mollie Blay and grandchildren Faith Margaret Blay, Evan Haydel and Nicky; sisters Kim Ernest and Georgia Langoni (Rob). She was also devoted to her fur babies Bullet and Caramel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. immediately followed by a 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, 70124. Interment will be private.
