

He was born on November 4, 1966 in New Orleans to the late Dr. Karl E. Keller and Marianna K. Keller of New Orleans, La.
Those left to cherish Karl's memory include his three children, Karl Peter Keller, Kevin Parker Keller and Emily Elizabeth Keller of Tuscaloosa, Ala. His children meant everything to him and were the loves of his life. Also mourning his loss are his beloved sister Katrina K. Lambert and her husband Chip Lambert of Baton Rouge, La. and their children Olivia, Keller and Juliette; his brother Kevin D. Keller and his wife Alyson Keller of Charlotte, N.C. and their children Paige and Kyle; his mother Marianna Keller Dillon and stepfather James L. Dillon of San Francisco, Calif.; and his dear friends Andrea Braha of Boca Raton, Fla. and Tom P. Davis of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Karl had a bright shining smile and a loving spirit that touched so many lives. He attended St. Martins Episcopal School and graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1985. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he received a degree in Financial Planning. He then followed his passion and began a business in the spearing community in South Florida. Karl served his country in the United States Army and fought courageously in Operation Desert Storm. He received several honorary awards including the Bronze Star for Bravery.
Funeral services will be at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, La. on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Visitation at 11 a.m. and services at 1 p.m. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Karl's beautiful life at a reception following services at Heritage Grill, 111 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005.
