She was a devote Catholic and an active member in Holy Name of Jesus Parish while living in New Orleans, serving as Vacation Bible School co-director, lecturer, and eucharistic minister. She had many hobbies she loved, including jewelry making, painting, crafting, singing, and praying. Cookie's love and carefree spirit will be missed deeply by her children and grandchildren. Her family would like to thank her caregiver Nanette Sticker for all she did to help Cookie over the last year. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6367 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at the Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Internment is private.
