Kavita Mansukhani

Kavita is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Kishore Mansukhani; her three daughters, Salina Mansukhani (age 20), Ria Mansukhani (age 16), and Kareena Mansukhani (age 10); her parents, Bhagwandass Sadhwani and Lajwanti Sadhwani; and her two brothers, Naresh (Meenakshi) and Prakash (Rakhi). She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lajwanti Mansukhani; her sister-in-law, Kashish Ramchandani (Govind); and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Shyam Mansukhani.

Kavita was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India on April 5, 1979. She graduated from University of Holy Cross and was a first-grade teacher at George Cox Elementary School.

She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, dressing up and celebrating any special occasion, and taking beautiful pictures. She lived for her kids – her three daughters and all of the first-grade children she taught and loved as her own at George Cox Elementary over the past few years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 11:30AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM.
