Kelly Ural Onstad

Kelly is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Keith Onstad; her beloved daughter, Kelly Ann Onstad; and two brothers, Kent and Keith Ural. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Joseph Ural and Virginia Davenport Ural.

Kelly was born in Jefferson Parish on April 14, 1963. She was a graduate of Cabrini High School and the University of New Orleans, where she received her bachelor’s degree. Kelly worked as a motor vehicle compliance analyst with the State of Louisiana’s Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of the PTA, Band Boosters, UNO Alumni, and was active at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell. She loved singing and dancing, and was passionate about animals. She also had a deep love for and connection with children.

The family would like to thank the teams at Ochsner Main Campus and Acadian Ambulance, and to all family, friends, and neighbors for their care and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM.
