Kent Douglas Noel died unexpectedly at his home in Metairie, Louisiana on Friday, February 25, 2022. Kent was born in Minnesota on February 6, 1965, the one survivor of a set of twins which were premature. In fact, Kent only weighed one pound and 13 ounces when he was born and thanks to the Catholic nuns, he survived after a long hospital stay thanks to their dedicated and constant care.
Kent was the outgoing, engaging, and gregarious middle child. He was liked by everyone he met. He was a good and loyal friend to all.
Kent spent his entire career in the food service industry. He was a busboy, waiter, line cook, and chef. These positions allowed him to interact with his customers directly.
Kent had just recently purchased his first home with his brother, Tim, and he was proud of this accomplishment.
Kent is survived by his mother and stepfather, Darlene and Tony Marinello of Metairie; along with his two brothers, Greg (Tessa) and Tim, as well as a sister, Carrie, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM.
