Kimberly Laine Fricke

Kimberly Laine Fricke, a devoted mother, loving daughter, loyal friend, and a fierce Saints fan, left us on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the age of 58. Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma Diane Jones (Albert “Al” Duckworth) and David “Duck” Fricke, her cousin Rhett N. Landry, and her beloved dog, Hartlie. She is survived by her daughters Alexandra M. Fricke (Landon P. Dermody) and Stefanie E. Fricke, who were the center of her whole world and the greatest loves of her life. She is also survived by her mother Jeffrie Schultis Fricke, her sisters Tiffany L. Fricke (Ted DeAgano III), Danielle Fricke Haydel (Michael J. Haydel), her brother Alexander S. Fricke, and her nephews Justin R. Neider and Vance P. DeAgano.

Kim was a strong, loving, and unforgettable woman who lived her life for the people she loved most. She was a hardworking and successful saleswoman, always dressed to the nines, with a personality as big as her heart. Most importantly, she was a devoted mother. She turned each celebration into something her girls would remember forever. From countless sleepovers, to cheer competitions, and volleyball tournaments, she always showed up and cheered them on. She had a way of making ordinary moments special, and her love, strength, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by everyone lucky enough to know her.

If you knew Kim, you knew one thing for certain, she was a DIE-HARD New Orleans Saints fan. She loved her Saints and never wavered, through the wins, the losses, and everything in-between. Sundays were meant for football, Popeyes, and a large Diet Coke extra ice.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 3001 Magazine St. NOLA, on the first Saints game of the regular season. In honor of Kim and her lifelong love of the New Orleans Saints, guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Saints game-day attire. Come ready to celebrate a woman who loved fiercely, lived fully, and never missed an opportunity to cheer for her team.
