He was preceded in death by his parents Leon Keller Hebert Sr. and Pearl Pollet Hebert and his brother Daniel M. Hebert.
He is survived by his loving companion Yolande Graffagnino Montecino and 5 children: Michelle H. Whitacre (Nicholas), Stefanie H. Dunbar (Michael), Amelie H. Saladino (Randy), Christopher M. (Amanda) and Lauren H. Moisant (Andrew) and 13 grandchildren. Also sadly missed by Sid (Windy) and Pete (Lee) Montecino and their 6 children.
Keller is also survived by three brothers: Ron, Thomas (Cynthia) and David, and sister Kathy (Larry).
Keller attended Jesuit High School and graduated from Loyola University. He was a devout Catholic and served as Sacristan in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church attending daily mass. He was a dedicated and active Third Degree member of Council 9240, Knights of Columbus serving as Church Director. He was especially dedicated to the praying of the Rosary and was instrumental in the distribution of Rosaries to the students and families of Our Lady of the Lake School. In recognition of his dedication and service to the Church, he received THE ORDER OF ST LOUIS from the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, Louisiana on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. A visitation will be held prior to the memorial mass beginning at 10:00 a.m.
