Lata Shyam Sadhwani

and longtime resident of Kenner, LA.

Lata married her husband Shyam Gohumal Sadhwani, in Jaipur India, and travelled to America where she raised their beautiful children .You could always find Lata with a beautiful smile on her face that spread to everyone she met. She was the kindest and most giving person…there wasn’t a person she didn’t love and who didn’t love her equally. Lata had a true gift for gardening and enjoyed being outside. She found peace in feeding the ducks and being with nature. Listening and dancing to old Bollywood songs was something she loved. She truly had a love for life. She fought a long battle with cancer and is now at rest in the arms of her Babaji.

Lata is preceded in death by her parents, Jhamatmal Lalwani and Devi Bhai Lalwani; her sisters, Saathi Jhamnani, Sarla Atumalami and Bhaaga Meherchandami; brothers, Lalchand Lalwani, Prakash Lalwani, Gopaldas Lalwani and Pritamdas Lalwani.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Shyam Gohumal Sadhwani; her loving children, Deepa Bhagchandani (Naresh Bhagchandani) and Suresh Sadhwani (Poonam Sadhwani); her adoring grandchildren, Rahul Sadhwani, Sakshi Sadhwani, Ajay Bhagchandani and Armaan Bhagchandani.
