Leo James Goulet

It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Leo James Goulet, who left this world far too soon at just 20 years old.

To know him was to love him. He had a personality that could fill any room, a laugh that was impossible not to join in with, and a smile that could brighten even the darkest day. He had an incredible gift for making people laugh, easing heavy moments with his humor, and reminding those around him to enjoy life. His positivity was contagious, and he truly lived each day to its fullest.

He had an undeniable passion for the outdoors and embraced every adventure that came his way. Whether he was riding his Harley, tearing through trails on his dirt bike, skateboarding, or simply enjoying the freedom of being outside, he felt most alive with the wind at his back. He was fearless, adventurous, and always chasing the next experience. Yet what truly defined him wasn’t his daring spirit—it was his kindness.

He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need without ever expecting anything in return. He cared deeply for others and never hesitated to show up for family, friends, or even strangers. He was proof that strength and compassion can exist hand in hand.

He was a dedicated and hardworking arborist who took immense pride in his work. Working for his older brother’s tree company, he seamlessly stepped into managing the day-to-day operations after his brother relocated out of state. His work ethic, reliability, and determination reflected the kind of man he was—someone who accepted responsibility without complaint and gave his all in everything he did.

Above all else, he loved his family and friends with his whole heart. His loyalty was unwavering, his love was unconditional, and the relationships he built were genuine and lasting. He never met a stranger for long; before you knew it, you were his friend. His ability to connect with people, make them feel welcome, and leave them smiling was a rare gift.

Though his time on earth lasted only 20 years, he packed more living, laughter, adventure, and love into those years than many do in a lifetime. His absence leaves a silence that words cannot describe, but the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving father, Marc; his mother, Heather; his brothers, John, Landin, and Hayden; and his sister, Bailee. As well as his beloved nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends who became family, and a community forever changed by his presence.

While our hearts are shattered, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy is not measured by the number of years he lived, but by the countless lives he touched. Ride free, laugh loud, and keep chasing every horizon. We will love you, miss you, and carry you with us for the rest of our lives.
