Leonard Jaeger

Lenny is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine Davis Jaeger of Independence, LA, Step-daughter, Kathy Chatelain (Kirk) of Gretna, LA, daughter, Mary Lovill (Woody) of Covington, LA, brothers Ronald (Linda) Jaeger of Metairie, LA , and Yves (Joan) Benoit of Metairie, LA , sister Susie (Jay) Brands of Metairie, LA. and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves behind precious grandchildren, Holly McLin, Matthew Chatelain, Sammy Lovill, Shawn Lovill, and Fallon Lovill. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Terry Jaeger of New Orleans, his mother, Mary Louise Manzella of New Orleans, and his father, Leonard Patrick Jaeger, Sr. of New Orleans.

Lenny was born on November 24, 1937 in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from Redemptorist High School . He served in the US Marine Corps as a Bugler for 4 years. He enjoyed nature and photography throughout his life.

He was a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Harahan, LA. where his life will be celebrated with visitation on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 9:00 am followed by a mass at 11:00 am. A Christian burial will be at All Saints Mausoleum at Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie, LA.
