When we still lived in Louisiana, Fred and Lil were our best "church buddies".  We went out to breakfast with them every Sunday after Mass .  They were good and faithful friends.  I am the only one left of the foursome...  Eleonore Villarrubia

To Lil's family:
I am just learning of her passing and I am so sorry for your loss.  I live across the street from Lil and Fred.  I always remember her cooking the most aromatic meals, her kindness and Fred whistling so beautifully.  Please accept my deepest condolences and may your memories comfort you.

Dee and Sonny so sorry for y’all ‘s loss Ms Lil was always a very sweet lady to Melvin n And I I know how much y’all loved her she would always be at the family functions and her and Mr Fred  she always made you feel so welcomed into the group of us talking and laughing and of course Mr Fred and the guys were off making funny comments about us May Jesus help y’all heal because I know it has been a difficult time finding out we’re she was much love and prayers for her and now she is at peace in heave with Mr Fred

Lilitha and I go back to high school , we were dear friends . Then I met her brother and we became sister in law . She was a wonderful person and a great friend. She was always there for me.  .sorry for your loss Yancy. Aunt. carmen.

I was trying to to find a picture of my mom and my brother Frank cabibi and I found this one. I guess he may have been 18. I remember the shirt because it was mine and he took it. So he could go on a date.

I love this photo, would you look at the look on my mom's face. I'm not sure when this was taking I believe it was when they renewed their vows.

Yes my mom could really shake a rug back then. She actually met Fred bonvillian, at a dance hall. He was a drummer a musician. I know he played the keyboard. And I believe the trumpet to. Mom loved the dance. I remember watching her from the couch. She would practice by herself on that old wood floor in the living room.

One of my biggest memories in childhood. Was going to my aunt Diddy's camp. That was my grandmother's sister. Crabbing was a big thing. You could put chicken necks on a string, and pull them up two at a time. Big blue crabs. We spent many weekends out there. I sure miss that camp.

I stumbled on this photo, was one of our get-togethers with all the family at my uncle Leon Sampere  oh, his wife Phyllis cook hey mean Thanksgiving dinner. I always enjoyed going to that old plantation home.

Lilitha  really enjoyed, A Little Flower Shop. She was very good at it. My husband Fred bonvillian would help, with the flower shop. They made a good team. My brother and I always enjoyed going in on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day to deliver roses and flowers. It was like a family get-together.

This is the only photo I have of my mom and her brother Leon Sampere I'm not sure when this was taken. But it is a great picture of both of them. Looking at the table setting I would say it was one Christmas.

Lilitha also was a excellent bowler. She bowled for many years at Pelican bowling alley . When I was growing up, during my youngest years. I remember playing in the bowling alley. As she practice. She would always give me money to play the grab machine and the pinball machines. Eating pizzas and cheese fries. Those were the days.

Lilitha was an artist too. She painted a few paintings to in the time that she was married to Fred bonvillian. They were like two peas in a pod, one could say.

My Mom married to a wonderful man name Fred Bonvillian, she couldn't have picked a better man to marry. He was known for his artwork all over Louisiana. And signs and billboards throughout the city. I'm not sure how many years they were married together but it was a long time. Maybe someone else can fill in that blank. But she lived happily with him.

This photo was taken last Christmas, at her home. I was making a special video, for her grandchild Frank cabibi. But he has not actually got to see yet, but hopefully soon. She did not get to enjoy Christmas this year at home. Love you Mom
